I have to choose between UCLA and UC Berkeley, and I am a pre-dent. It would be great if any one can compare the pros and cons of these two pre-dental programs at these two schools.
They are both fine schools. You will need a strong GPA, and a strong score on whatever test dental schools require. That will matter more than UCLA or Cal.
Dental school admissions are as competitive as medical school…or pretty close.
To answer the question – no, UCLA doesn’t “help” its undergrads in any particular way to get into any UCLA grad program, dental school included.
