Does UCs accept Dec 9th ACT score?

Hello everybody,
I just have a question about whether UCs accept the Dec. ACT test score because that's already after the application deadline.

And do I have to state the college I want them to send in the score when I register the test? or should I wait to see my result. cause it take about 2 1/2 weeks to see the score online and 4-7 weeks for the score to mail to colleges (I feel this's really late and they probably won't accept the score).

If they do accept the Dec. score, would it make them think that why am I taking the ACT so late (well, I am taking several of them, but I think the Dec. score will probably be my best score....), so that I am in a disadvantaged position?

thx ahead for answering.

bump.....bump....bump

they accept sat scores from december... so they should accept act also. not 100% sure though

the deadline for the application is Nov. 30 but the deadline for all test scores is Dec. 31. Since it takes four weeks or more to get scores sent to them, i don't think the Dec. test would make it. the last ACT test i'm taking will be oct. 28

ps- who's sure that they accept SAT scores for Dec.? i'm a senior, and if that's true, it'd be great to take the SAT subject tests again in Dec.

The UC pathway site states that it takes both the Dec SAT and ACT. It is irrelevant that the score may not get there by January 1 (with the SAT current process, the SAT writing score of the December test is unlikely to get there by Jan 1 and the ACT, though given later, is likely to get there sooner than that score). The scores get there when the ACT issues scores and sends them all to the UC's via computer. You should designate the schools on your test app to assure they get there when the ACT makes that computer transfer. As soon as the UC's have those December test scores, they start the process of actually reviewing files for admission and thus if your score arrives later because you order it sent after you get your score, you will be behind the curve somewhat. It is irrelevant to the UC's that the score is from a December test rather than earlier.

that has the calendar for all test dates, and it states both the Dec SAT and ACT test dates are the last dates to take the tests

yay i get two more chancessss
