Does UCSD give aid/merit scholarships to international students?

I am interested in applying to UCSD for economics. But the catch is that I am an international student and can't attend without a scholarship. Any ideas if ucsd offers any merit ones that I can apply to?

Or do you guys know any agency or a company which gives scholarship(full or close to a full one) for which I can apply to?

The main reason public colleges and universities in California admit undergraduate international students is for money. They are desperate for the extra fees. Merit awards go to resident students. These are taxpayer-supported institutions that have an obligation to educate the citizens of this country first. You will be much more likely to get funding at a public university as a graduate student. Try private institutions like USC for undergraduate merit awards.

Aas for companies and agencies that give full scholarships, those would be from your own government or country.

Thanks for the info… I’ll definitely look into USC…

hi.how can i take scholarship form one of the California universities?
