<p>I think we should interview applicants, I mean, we have a lot of alumni almost everywhere, we should do it, when I graduate I would be OK signing up to do that.</p>

<p>Thena gain there is the fact that the alumni wanting to do this have to be unbiased. I jsut think it would be too costly, although it still would be useful.</p>

<p>i dont think that admissions are competative enough to need an interview to decide between two otherwise identical candidates.</p>
<p>the percentage of people accepted who are marginal vs the same for harvard are dramatically different.</p>
