<p>seems like some universities simply disregard the Critical Writing Section of the SAT in their decision-making process, regarding it as an experimental add-on or worthless metric. I assume it's much better to score well on the traditional Math and Reading sections.</p>

<p>There is no CW. You have the CR and W sections. Michigan cares about both, but like most universities, will place more weight on the CR and Math sections, but a decent score on the W is still expected.</p>
