I wanted to know if they superscore or not?

No, Illinois public universities do not superscore SAT or ACT; they use that test with highest composite. That is true of the majority of public universities nationwide.

okay thank you. Also, would you have any idea of which ACT looks better?

Composite- 28
English- 26
Math- 29
Reading- 29
Science- 27

or

Composite 28
English- 24
Math- 33
Reading- 23
Science- 32

Well, it depends on what your intended field of study is. If you want to study math or science-related, the second test would look better. If you are looking for more of a liberal arts education, you may be off choosing the first one. However, some schools require you to send in all of your test scores so the question may be moot.

Okay. Bioengineering would be the intended education

Since both are the same composite, they will look at both and each has its better points so send both.

okay will do. On the application however, it asks for the best set of scores. Should i put either one then?

Though what you put on app probably means little since UIC will rely on the official scores sent by ACT not the one set out in the app, I would likely put the one that has the higher math score since you are applying for engineering and the math score is the more important for any such major.

Alright. Thanks for the help!
