Does University of Michigan have a liberal arts curriculum?

<p>I'm doing Early Action to University of Michigan and mentioned ''the liberal arts curriculum'' of UMich in my supplementary essay. However, I only assumed this information since I couldn't find a clear explanation regarding it and I'm worried about writing incorrect info in the essay. Is there anyone who can help me?</p>

<p>That being said, UofM is a large, public research university. I wouldn’t have assumed something on your essay, since that question (The dreaded “Why __________” question) is so they see if you are really passionate about their school.</p>
