does USC count freshman grades?

I know the UC's dont count freshman grades, but does USC?

yes usc counts freshmen grades of applicants

But... they will appreciate an upward trend.......... i think???

Yep, for sure.

I had three C's and an F freshman year and another two C's first semester sophomore year before improving dramatically afterwards. Everything else was very solid though, SAT, EC's, etc.

Did you get in sfgiants?????

or still applying???

Yea, I'm a freshman at 'SC.

if you dont mind me asking sf giants

how solid were the sats to make up for the frosh grades???

thanks

For what it's worth, my S had some Cs in his junior year on his transcript when applying to USC, as well as several Bs throughout his HS transcript; he was about the middle of his HS class of 230 in terms of ranking because of these grades. He was still admitted as an undeclared engineering student. He had very high test scores & good ECs.

ya....

well im pretty much opposite of that

i have really good grades..... but just average sat scores like mid 600s.... but i still have time to work on them

2130 on one sitting, 2190 highest individual scores (which is the way USC calculates 'em)

sfgiants: what was you uw and w gpa?

3.45uw, 3.65w
