Does USC look at SAT Subject scores a lot?

I have really good SAT II Subject scores but a more average overall SAT score... Do you think I should take the SAT again (I only took it once), or does it really matter since I have already have good subject test scores?

They don’t require SAT IIs, but like to see them when considering scholarships.

Have you time to try the ACT? Some students do much better on that exam.

Are you a senior? If not, a general rule of thumb in my school is “If you don’t get 2400, take it again.” :D. If you’re a senior, I’m not sure if you have much time left. I don’t know if USC accepts December scores and since November SAT registration has passed, there’s nothing much you can do. Just write an amazing app and pass it onto your most trusted teacher who will tell you the cold hard truth of whatever he/she thinks.

To be honest, I think SATs don’t make much of a difference. I was admitted last year (deferred my admission for 3 years) and saw the freshman profile. The majority of the kids scored higher than I did. As long as you’re in the range, personality and personal experiences are probably valued far more than a few points on the SATs.

I can’t confirm this though! I don’t know their admission process!

In years past, the December scores were considered. If students take the December SAT or ACT, they should mark USC as an automatic score recipient (don’t wait to see your scores before deciding if you will send them) and FAX your unofficial scores as SOON as you receive them online to the FAX number below. USC will use the unofficial scores in considering your application and verify with the official scores later.
