Does USC offer a bachelor's in Landscape Architecture?

I can't seem to find any information about it on the USC Architecture website, but Collegeboard says that a bachelor's is offered, and I found this page on the USC site.

USC Catalogue: The Schools: USC School of Architecture: Undergraduate Degrees: Bachelor of Landscape Architecture

Can anyone give me a straight answer?

pandem,
Here is a toll free phone number for the School of Architecture: 800 281 8616. Perhaps someone there would be able to answer your questions.

pandem, the web site you link to in your original post seems to be crystal clear that the degree is offered. What is the issue?

I am so freakin’ confused by the OP.

Here’s your straight answer: YES

Why are you even asking the question since you found the answer yourself?

Thanks for the number.

And I’m confused for the following reason:

On ASLA’s website, it just says that there is a masters program:
[American Society of Landscape Architects - Schools](<a href=“American Society of Landscape Architects”>American Society of Landscape Architects)

On USC’s architecture website, there is no link for undergrad LA:
[Undergraduate

On Collegeboard, it says that there is an undergrad in LA:
College Search - University of Southern California - USC - Majors](<a href=“USC School of Architecture”>USC School of Architecture)

And on USC’s course catalog (as posted above), it says that there IS an undergrad in LA.
[USC Catalogue: The Schools: USC School of Architecture: Undergraduate Degrees: Bachelor of Landscape Architecture](http://www.usc.edu/dept/publications/cat2008/schools/architecture/undergraduate_bla.html)

I’ve come to the conclusion that USC isn’t quite sure whether or not it has a bachelor’s.

I think you can go by what is in the catalog:

[USC Catalogue: Past Catalogues](http://www.usc.edu/dept/publications/cat2008/archive/)

I agree the discrepancy is confusing. It would be good to confirm the degree will still be in catalogue the year you start.

I’ve called them and emailed them, and haven’t gotten any replies? What’s the deal here? Anyone know?

They just got back to me; here’s the e-mail.

Although the Bachelor of Landscape Architecture is technically listed in the USC Catalogue, the degree program is not actively offered at the School of Architecture as there are no students enrolled. The School has shifted it’s efforts in Landscape Architecture studies toward the Masters level and the plan is to completely close the B.L. Arch in the near future.

We apologize for the confusion this may have caused.
