I signed up for a history class at alamo colleges this summer but it was recently cancelled due to not enough people registering. Though alamo consists of multiple colleges, none of the others are close enough to me, so I want to take one of their online classes. Would an online class transfer normally like any other class? The class would be History 1301, which does transfer to UT, but I'm not sure if the online version works the same.

I would ask UT but who know when I would get a response.

I have taken several online classes at a CC, including History 1302, and as far as I know, they’re transferrable. They count as part of my 30 hours of transferrable credit, so I think that means they will transfer.

Have you used this? [UT ATE System - Query by Other College’s Course](<a href=“UT ATE System”>UT ATE System)
Place your info regarding the online class into the transfer equivalency search. It will tell you what UT class it corresponds to. UT makes no distinction whether it is an online class or not. If you complete the class(es) with a ‘C’ or better, it transfers as credit.
