<p>As a public university, UT’s funding is limited and they do not necessarily meet full need. </p>
<p>If you are awarded up to your full need, the award will probably include loans. Apply for scholarships, especially through UT, the TexasExes, and locally-based scholarships you can learn about through your high school. Be sure to submit the FAFSA in January and stay in contact with your HS counselor (assuming you are graduating from a Texas public high school). The high schools have to submit your name to the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board in order for you to receive the Texas Excellence Grant and the Texas Top 10% Scholarship.</p>
