A couple of my friends going to different colleges have recently taken a physical from the request of the colleges. One of the friends said she was notified by mail and I'm wondering if UT also requires it.

I had to do one and have a form filled out to return to UT before the fall semester began. I don’t know if everyone has to do one or if there is some way to get out of it.

Yes, everyone has to fill out the physical form, but I don’t think it actually requires a physical, just medical info.

so will they let me register for classes at orientation if i don’t have medical info by then? because they haven’t asked me for anything about medical info.

Do they require vaccination info also? because i had some when i was little back in my home country but i don’t have any records for those vaccinations and there is no way i can get the info either.

I couldn’t verify some of mine so I had to have the shots again.

I was at the parent orientation yesterday and attended the student health center seminar. If you are an international student they require a multitude of vaccines within the past 12 months. If you were raised in the US and went to high school here, they no longer require it. You must have your vaccines complete to register for classes. You can get them at the student health services, but the TB results take two to three days to get the results. Therefore, you would not have enough time to do it on the first day of Orientation. I suggest you call the health service office for a more thorough explanation.

i am not considered an international student. i have been living in the US since 1999 and i did go to high school here.

I would suggest calling Student health services and asking them.
