I have been considering going to UTSA for the kinesiology program, but researched that the majority student body comes from being Hispanics and even most bachelor degrees are awarded to Hispanic students. Has anyone graduated or currently attending UTSA could tell me if that is true or not? I definitely wanna attend a university that has diversity, but don’t wanna attend a university where the college caters only the majority and not minority.
Well, San Antonio is about 50% Hispanic so it makes sense that UTSA would have a larger percentage of Hispanic students than most universities. But I definitely wouldn’t say they cater only to Hispanics, not at all. I don’t think you should be concerned.
I just don’t want to have to run into that awhile I am there. Also, does minorities get treated equally?
I toured UTSA campus can say without a doubt that they have a diverse student body. I they have a large hispanic student population but I have never heard anyone imply they cater to the majority over the minority. They have a nice campus.
