I did the best on that than on anything else

your fine if u did well on it

Hmm, I've heard a lot about how colleges will really start counting the section only after a few more years. Otherwise they're not really counting it right now. But.. that's just what I heard.

well there is an english exemption that comes with people scoring a 720 or above plus a 4 on the AP english language exam (supposedly); however, when you fill out that thing we had to have done by the 23rd (i just did it today, so i guess it wasn't that serious ;) ) there is no place to put your score for writing for the SAT I...so i don't know. I guess we'll find out soon enough!

They treat the writing the same as the SAT II in writing (one of the required SAT IIs before collegeboard got rid of it to put it on the SAT I). A score of 720 (single measure, no AP exam needed) exempts you from the first writing requirement (see this http://artsandsciences.virginia.edu/undergrad/requirements/competency.html#firstWriting ). I just know I took the SAT II my junior year (much easier than the SAT I writing, or so I've heard) and got a 780 so I didn't bother to take the new SAT, haha.

^ yeah, a 720 will exempt you. There are also several other single-measure and composite ways to be exempt too, so check out that list that comes with the COD
