does uva have a quota from each school?

message=read title. i am scared coz there are too many people applying from my school

for in-state... sort of. i don't think there's a quota for each school, but there is for each county/city, etc. because it is a state-funded school, they have to have proportional representation (i.e. can't accept 20% in lynchburg but 70% in richmond...) hope that helps.

well even if its city, it still bites me. too many people in general are crazy about uva from richmond

Crichessill-
As you are from Richmond, what's your opinion on URichmond? It looks like a great school, everyone is very friendly and I think the city of Richmond has a lot going on. As a resident what's your take on the school? Do many Richmond kids go to UVA rather than W&M?

richmond is a crappy city if ur a rebel. too boring. and school is tough too many overachievers. especially my school. its been a bad experience. and yes a lot of people go to uva thaan w&m. last year 35 wentto uva out of 70 who applied. 12 went to w&m

Do you mean too many overachievers at URichmond? I visited W&M I thought that school was really intense, lots of anxious people there. I liked UVA a lot, but being from NJ, I didn't apply because the chances of getting in are slim. I thought URichmond was laid back, maybe that's because I'm from the north. Isn't Richmond well regarded in the south?

oh... university of richmond? that school isnt hard to get in and plus i dont think its hard in general either. i thought u meant in richmond schools. u of richmond is probbaly laid back like u think. i mean, i know some dumbasses get in there. plus this smart kid who was caught for cheating got in. so i am sure its not that intense. but uva and w&m espeicaly is very hard
