Does UW acknowledge amount AP classes offered in high school?

I attend a high school that's sort of located in a rural area, and it only offers 7 AP courses to all of its students. I have taken 4 out of the 7 in my high school career. Is this considered an unchallenging course load? How will admissions know that my high school offers a limited selection of AP classes?

If you are in state they probably know a bit about your high school from past experience.

Depends on which AP classes you took. If you can get a B or higher in AP Calc I would suggest you take that. It is probably the best AP class you can take in high school will help you a lot in college. Many majors require math.

Along with your transcript, an academic profile of your school is sent, which I believe includes that information (how many APs they offer.)

Although it can make you look like a strong candidate, the admissions doesn’t really base their decision on the amount of AP classes that you’ve taken. Your chances are pretty good, I wouldn’t even worry about it. I came from out of state and my high school only offered AP Biology. I took it and got a 5, but I found out I have to take the General Biology series like everyone else because, AP classes are different from college classes. Not all of those AP scores will get you college credit, you’re eventually going to have to take them like everyone else.
