Does Vandy directly compare applicants from the same HS?

<p>A friend and I both applied RD to Vandy. I've been accepted EA to what is basically my top-choice Uni, however parents are making me wait to hear back on all RD's as well.</p>

<p>My question is, if I were to withdraw my app from Vandy (it's stronger than friend's), would it potentially increase said friend's chance of admission here? I'm unlikely to enroll if admitted, so I wouldn't mind- would just have to reason with the parents.</p>

<p>If you have been accepted EA to a school, then you need to withdraw all other applications, for the sake of fairness and since you are bound to that school anyway.</p>

<p>^^You do NOT have to withdraw apps after an EA acceptance, just for an ED (the binding one) acceptance. Big difference.</p>

<p>To answer your question, I don’t think it will make that much of difference, especially this late in the game.</p>
