<p>Colleges ALWAYS look at UW GPA (UCs might be one of the few exceptions to this). They will use their own criteria to weight grades. Colleges will generally also use class rigor which balances what might be perceived as a low GPA. 3.85 is not bad at all and being Val certainly helps (shows grade deflation - or at least no inflation).</p>
