Does Work-Study take up a lot of time?

If I do work-study, will it take up a lot of my studying time in college? About how many hours a week do most people work if they do work-study?

20 hours is the max iirc.

^ No. It depends on the school, amount, job, etc. At my work study job, there is no technical limit but the school stops paying after 29 hours so the rest has to come out of the pocket of the employer.

Anyway, most people work 7-10 hours/week. Some more, some less. No, it won’t take up a lot of time. Not at all. And at many WS jobs, you can do homework while on the job.

I work 8 hours a week and have ALOT of free time to do hw and study when im at work

It’s really varied. I have a friend that works 18 hours a week, but I only work 10 hours a week (I need more shifts!). And even with an average-to-high course load I still have free time.
