Does Yale take account of demonstrated interest?

For example... would they look for any emails you've sent them, visits, etc?

I'm guessing probably not since it's a top school, but just wondering if anyone knows for sure.

From everything I’ve heard or read, they do not.

Yale does not keep tack of an applicant’s demonstrated interest such as emails, visits, calls, and etc. Yale takes whoever they want without regard to how much the applicant reached out to the school. Yale’s yield is about 70% so demonstrated interest isn’t a big concern to them.

Thank you :)

Exactly… They want people who genuinely want to be there… but those people who are overly obsessed, it would be a big turn off for me.

In one reply to this question, when we visited, they answered “your application to Yale demonstrates your interest in Yale” and that they do not keep track of how many times you contact Yale or even visit the campus.
