While applying abroad (US) does your school name really matters ?
I mean is it like that they give preference to students from certain specified (reputed) schools or what ?</p>
<p>I am really concerned because I ditched a reputed school and now its worrying me..</p>
<p>Hey! I think yes it do matters but not that much you think. College wont give any preference to anyone but if you have achievements in a very competitive school then yes it does concern them a little but again nothing to worry. Study for your SATs write excellent essays and build a good reputation in school to get good recommendation and then you have a good chance. Good luck</p>
