<p>Your college major does matter but you can make it not matter. Usually when you decide to major within a study you have to take a certain number of courses required… if you didn’t have it as your major, then you wouldn’t have to take those courses. You can still try to balance other courses within your major, but most times it will then be better to declare the second study as a minor or major… This will also have a affect on what you learn, opportunities, future etc… so it’s usually meant to take your college major seriously.</p>
