Hello, I was wondering if my child’s high school would be notified, like we are notified, of her accepted/rejected status. Or is it just the student and the family that gets notified?
It is self reported for D’16’s HS
Acceptances? Not normally. Some guidance counselors have relationships w/some colleges’ admissions officers and may discuss students and thus, get an indication. But in general, no.
However, upon matriculation, your HS will be asked to submit a final transcript to the destination college that your kiddo chooses.
I’ll third what these guys are saying, I have to report all of my acceptances to my GC or he’d never know
