@rico: the only other person is my friend from school (I go to Clark Magnet, grr :K). And it’s cool to meet someone else who’s applying to NYU at all near me- everyone seems to be doing the standard CSU, UC, USC, Loyola, Pepperdine. Or GCC/PCC of course D:

@itstime: yeah! the americana really changed things. I remember when everyone was all tense cause we had a vote to decide whether or not to allow it to be built, and it passed 51% to 49%.

@Mag- i definitely can’t see myself attending a CSU or UC. I have a friend who goes to Clark I applied to Silver. I haven’t seen ANYONE on here who has applied to Silver. I have very low stats compared to everyone but I have good recs/e.c.'s and my essay/short answers were great as well but my GPA is crap as well. so…im crossing my fingers. some way…some how…i’ll get in. and I hope since there seems to be very little students applying to Silver…that’ll give me a high chance.

@ric: yeah, I have the crappppiest GPA in the world, but it’s the only weakness in my app (I think, I may be mistaken though). And who’s your friend? If he/she is a senior, I might know him/her.

Plus I think it definitely helps that you’re applying to Silver School. And me too- somehow it’s hard to picture myself in a UC, and I’m not even applying to CSUs.

@Mag- wow; im shocked. I saw your stats and…wow. i just cannot believe you were rejected. i think i might just be the person with the lowest stats accepted… i consider myself lucky. and im so sorry, i dont know what to say.

@ric: it’s fine- it was suicide applying to stern! I shouldve went with CAS Econ… people with stats much higher than mine got rejected to stern, but people with stats lower than mine got into CAS.

well, I guess all I’ve got now are the UCs and other random places I plan to apply to.
