Doh...forgot something on my application!

I've sent in applications to three schools already and forgot to put down something important because it didn't really fall into any category other than "Extra Information." It's a fundraiser I started at my school that raised $700+. I know I can't change anything about my applications. Is there a way to email them and get that put on there? Or would that just make me look bad because it would show that I'm forgetful?

Or maybe I'm making a big deal out of nothing. What should I do?

I wouldn't make a big deal out of $700.

If the fundraiser is something that is genuinely important to you, and you feel it will really help your chances, e-mail the Admissions Department and let them know. People forget stuff on their applications all the time - I forgot to mention 2 things (both ECs, and both very relevant to my intended major) and called Admissions; they said it happens a lot and made a note of it in my file.

By the way, running a fundraiser and raising $700 is very impressive. I ran a charity organization for 2 years and I don't think we raised that much in total, lol.

Thanks so much! That's a relief to hear =)

Charlotte-
If you haven't already made a resume, write one up and be sure to include it!!!

$700 isn't a lot . . . but then again it depends on the student body.

^sAxsKy - For some schools in some regions, raising $700 is quite a big deal! Good job OP and definitely update your college
