Doing 2 practice tests in the same day ?

Do you think doing 2 practice tests at the same day may hurt me ?I have 8 tests from the BB ,6 from the online course and 4 real tests (from different test dates between 2005-2007) and i need to review some vocabulary before start doing the practice tests .The problem is that the Jan test is in only 3 weeks and no way i can do all of the practice if at least 4-5 days i do 2 tests a day.
The first one from 9.am to 13.30 and the second one between 16.00 - 19.30 (I will take 2 weeks off from school)

Bad idea. Doing practice tests isn’t just supposed to acquaint you with SAT questions, but also to let you learn from your mistakes. If you take a test a day there’s no way you’ll really be learning from your mistakes. You’d exhaust yourself doing two a day and you wouldn’t get anything out of it.

According to the magic formula: f(s) = 2400 - 10^(18-t) where f(s) is your score and t is the number of practice tests you take, you need to take 18 practice tests to score a 2400.

…You have guessed that the magic formula doesn’t actually exist. It’s not about how many tests you take it’s about how much you learn from each one. Use them wisely.

^ Perfectly put.

LOL i was inputting some numbers into that formula before i saw that it was bogus…

You’re not just TAKING the practice tests, you are also ANALYZING the practice sets… It takes me about an hour to analyze the problems I got wrong, so if you have 9 hours to fork over everyday, go for it, but otherwise, i’d say it’s a no go.

I have done enough practice questions and i am pretty much aware of what really the SAT is.I will only take practice tests in order to get used to work under the allocated time and to solve more and more problems made by the test maker ;)That
s it :stuck_out_tongue:
Of course,i will analyze my mistakes because if one does any kind of exercise and doesn
t learn from his mistakes, the exercises will be …pointless.
9 hours a day ,well i will take 2 weeks-off from school before the test.I hope i will be fine.

Ivan, you seem horribly obsessed with preparing for this exam.

I’ll do half of the practice tests for you. :)

and sometimes the most motivated just … fail haahahaha

you don’t want to burn yourself out

well i wouldnt take all of them because what will you use to practice on if you want to retake? you definitely want to save a few just in case.

howd u get the real tests???

He was one of those kids in the movie Perfect Score. I think he was the asian pothead.

They can be found online.
