Doing awful in ap calc

Hey guys.

so i am currently a senior in high school, and as the title says, i am doing awful in AP Calc AB. I am in 3 other APs as well. I currently have a 69 in the first mp. I am generally pretty good at math and get high Bs or low As in honors maths. Should I drop to CP Calc? and how bad would this look for colleges that i have already applied to, since I would have to email them and tell them about it. It would go on my transcript as a withdrawn passing.

Also, I want to major in comp sci, so how much would this affect my chances?

You are better off dropping down to CP Calculus than ending up with a D or F since low grades could result in any acceptances being rescinded.

You will need to contact each school if you drop AP Calculus, but taking CP Calculus although not as rigorous. will still give you a good foundation for College level Calculus that you will need as a CS major.

How much of an impact on your admission decisions will depend upon which schools you applied.

However, be aware that CS majors in college will have to take calculus, and calculus 1 in college will cover material at a faster pace than high school calculus AB.

^ do the above and take calculus regular.
