I'm starting to do kind of bad in school. I use to be a 95-100 student and now I'm in the low 90s to the occasionally 80s. I'm starting to freak out because I know eventually these grades for freshman year go to colleges. Do colleges understand that first quater might be hard or will they peg me as slacker? Also how can I bring my grades back up?

You just might not be that smart to be honest. I had plenty of friends who were straight A kids in middle school but just weren’t in high school. Either begin studying or accept your grades.

I guess I am just geting dumb, Funstuff. Could it just be because it is honor classes? Some of it is because I make stupid mistakes on tests, so any advice on that?

You’re not getting dumb, the curriculum is just increasing in difficulty faster than you’re increasing in intelligence.

Go back and review your test/answers to see if you made any mistakes before handing your test in. That’s all I can give advice for… unless you’re into cheating.

Thanks for the advice. The thing is do check my tests over and I still get these mistakes. Then when I get my test back I see i could have prevented if I paid more attention. By the way cheating is not really what I’m into.
