Artist: Bernard, Meg, Clayton, Ivy, Anderson
Number of consecutive Work Hours:8,10,8,6,5</p>

<p>(the work hours are in respect to the artist)</p>

<p>Actual question: The table above shows the consecutive number of hours that artists were signed into a shared studio space during the course of the studio's hours of operation. The studio is open from 8:00am through 10:00pm. If Ivy's work period did not overlap Clayton's, which of the following could be a time in which only one artist was using the workspace?</p>

<p>A) 10:00-11:00am
B) 12:00-2:00pm
C) 1:00-2:00pm
D) 3:00-4:00pm
E) 5:00-6:00pm</p>

<p>The answer is A, how do you get to the answer without guessing and checking?</p>

<p>no its not in BB, there is no graph. I couldnt draw the table, so i just basically listed the info</p>

<p>Now look at Meg and try to place 10 consecutive hours </p>

<p>A) 10:00-11:00am = only one that works = possible to start at 11 am
B) 12:00-2:00pm = easy to scratch
C) 1:00-2:00pm = same
D) 3:00-4:00pm = same
E) 5:00-6:00pm = only one that comes close but only allows for 9 hours.</p>
