<p>Hey everyone,
I have been offered a fabulous opportunity to volunteer/intern with an NGO in the Dominican Republic (near Puerto Plata.) I'm really excited about it, as I will get to develop my own project and work on a sustainable eco-village. I am interested in working with the Peace Corps in the future, and this NGO was started by a former Peace Corps volunteer, so I think this would be a foundation for that. However, even though I have studied abroad twice and took a gap year interning, I have never really done anything like this before and am really nervous. I think I want to go, but I am having some doubts. Can anybody who has been in a similar situation, or with any insight on the DR please help me out?</p>
