Done Junior Year! Chance rising senior?

<p>Pre-note- School's grading system has B+ at 89-92 and A at 93-100. So for example my junior year my lowest grade was a 92 so I received a 3.9(ish) GPA</p>

-given some awards for both
Service and Leadership- I have worked with the local baseball league for the mentally challenged over the past few years and with The Claddagh Fund. I went on a service trip to Santiago, Chile and Louisiana this year. Next year I will be going on a trip to South Dakota on an Indian reservation.
Leadership wise, I have led freshman orientations at my school and will be taking an even more active role this year. I will be a part of the Mission and Ministry Leadership Team and a leader for the Freshman retreat. I also hope to be a Kairos Leader next year.
The main awards that I have received are the a Scholarship for "moral, spiritual, and Academic Leadership" and the Man for Others Award. This is given to a Junior who best exemplifies the Ignatian values taught by the Jesuits (I go to a Jesuit High School. Hope this will be big with the Jesuit Colleges).

<em>probably one more semester class here</em>
Misc- Traveled a lot with Rugby team (Went to Spain, France, Argentina, maybe Ireland next year)
I did an exchange trip last year where I stayed in Santiago, Chile for two months then I came back here and the Chilean stayed with me for a whole semester. (Might write about that for my essay??)
Worked off and on throughout my high school career.
Recommendations should be good as I have a great relationship with both teachers.
I go to a Jesuit School in PA.
Caucasian
Not too sure about my major. Business, Int. business, or int. relations. That is not too concrete for me at this point.</p>

<p>Colleges (Sorry for that being so long)
Georgetown
Boston College
Northeastern
Vanderbilt
Tulane
Penn (big reach)
Penn state (honors?)
George Washington
Emory</p>

<p>Thanks a lot beforehand and can someone explain to me the idea of "bump"</p>

<p>people say “bump” because they are bumping there thread to the top of the main page. basically if nobody commented and it drops of the first page they will bump it so they get more visibility.</p>

<p>Georgetown - high reach
Boston College - low reach
Northeastern - high match
Vanderbilt - high reach
Tulane - high match
Penn (big reach) - high reach
Penn state (honors?) - low match
George Washington - match
Emory - reach</p>

<p>Your list is kind of top heavy. I would add 2-3 more schools that are true match schools. I would recommend looking into Villanova, University of Florida, Boston University and Lehigh University. They are all solid matches.</p>

<p>Your EC’s are kind of weak, and your SAT scores and grades are a bit below ideal. I’m thinking:</p>

<p>Vanderbilt: high reach
Penn: high high reach
Emory: high reach
Georgetown: low reach
BC: low reach
Tulane: match
Penn State: match
GW: match
Tulane: Match</p>
