<p>just done with french language - I took it in sydney and I was the only person sitting the test. it's so much harder to focus when it's just you in a small room...</p>

<p>afterwards I went shopping :) like I always do after an exam. comp govt. + politics next week, so I need to start studying. now.</p>

<p>how was french lang.? are you a native french speaker or did you learn it as a foreign lang.? just wondering because I might be taking it next year.</p>

<p>I'm not a native speaker, but I got it into my head that I would still be able to do well on the test. </p>

<p>I'm sure I did just fine in the listening, reading comprehension and grammar sections - those were all really straightforward. The essay and the speaking parts - all I can say is, those aren't my strong points ;) </p>

<p>For the essay, I memorised a whole bunch of convoluted 'french-sounding' phrases and threw them in in the hope that would cover up the fact that I cannot analyse. For the speaking, I couldn't believe it, the images were taken from a practice paper I had done - not that it helped me at all, I swear I cringed when I had to play back that tape to check it had recorded me...</p>

<p>if you have any questions about the test, just ask, I did just take it so who knows, maybe I'll be able to give answers :)</p>
