I am aiming VERY high college-wise, like HYPS-level, though not HYPS.

SAT 1: 2370
SAT Math 2: 770 (no, I will NOT retake)
SAT Physics: 730 (won´t improve)
SAT Spanish: 700 (OUCH! I don´t understand, as I have taken 5 years of Spanish and spent nearly 2 months in a Spanish-speaking country. Also, the test felt really easy.)

Anyway, I am a rising junior wondering if I out to retake after I have another year of Spanish study. If I retake, I could take English Lit on the same day and I think I would do fairly well. Would it be worth it or should I kiss goodbye to SAT´s?

Also, if it makes a difference, I will be in college 300-level Spanish next year. Assuming I get good grades, will that speak louder than my lousy subject test score.

I hate to break it to you, but very high scores can get you rejected just as much as they can get you accepted. What that means is that once you're at or above a school's average for a given test, then you're good. You have just as much a chance of getting accepted or rejected as a person with a score at or higher than a school's average. So, in other words, it's a crap shoot.

Anyway, other people have said that even a 650+ SAT II score won't keep you out of any school. However, 700+ is good enough. So, you're fine. Your SAT score is also fine. Don't worry about it. Work on your essays and apply.

It would help more if you could be more specific on which colleges you are applying to and what your intended major is. On face value, those scores look good enough that you should be done with the SAT.

Your SAT I score is very good. You might want to retake your Spanish SATs if you're really interested in Spanish. And you thought the test was easy, right? So maybe you should prep a little more and take it again.

cool! I'm right on the target! Okay, seems like ur scores r enough for the type of schools u r thinking of, but it doesn't at all mean that u r IN! Details of ur other stufss could've been great!
