<p>I'm also on the Summer Waitlist. I am sincerely hoping this doesn't go until August! The orientation for Carnegie Mellon, where I'm enrolled now, starts mid-August...</p>

<p>I'm guessing the "few" of us is still a fairly large number of us, but I'm hoping it's not significantly more than 100? My UChicago admissions counselor is, I notice, no longer listed on the blog staff - I sent an additional letter to him, but I'm wondering if it will even be received by them if the Summer admissions staff have changed? Anyone know about this?</p>

<p>same as drdom's S. i was rejected from Caltech on the 13th (Friday the 13th uggg) from their waitlist, so now Im officially going to Chicago.</p>

<p>sigh...I was released from the summer waitlist today. I guess it's kind of nice that they called it "Chicago's Loss" (and not have to have me say it implicitly)</p>

<p>M D never did hear another word from Chicago, on waitlist or released. She tried contacting them, but they never replied. Happy she's looking forward to her enrolled school, but it's weird never having closure.</p>

<p>She may still on the summer wait list. I have heard of some wait lists being maintained through August.</p>
