Don't be THAT GUY

I think this can become a nice philosophical thread.
I mean, yes, it does make others feel bad, but what about the personal himself/herself? Isn’t he looking for some security? Isn’t he looking for answers? By no means I disagree with you guys, but I want to study International Relations, so debating is my thing
What situation is appropriate to post, then? If you’re not an over-achiever, you’ll receive the brutal truth of being a high reach for many, many schools.
I think the truth is that, whether you like it or not, college prep is a brutal process and so is College Confidential, even if many people here try to make it a smoother place. I don’t think it’s really possible to avoid these things on here, yet I do encourage everybody that plans on posting in this subforum to think about the worth of posting something here.

I also HIGHLY disagree with people that think this whole subforum is unnecessary. Maybe if you’re living in 'Murica, in a top school, with a million people assisting you, preparing you since you were born (which is many times the background of the haters). But if you’re part of a completely different culture, the feedback that is offered here is priceless.
