<p>I asked if I could speak with the admissions officer who looked at my app so that I could see what to do to improve my RD apps, and I was told that they don't individually review apps over the phone.</p>

<p>yeah dont call, i got to speak with someone, but she couldnt really tell me much, i actually got the feeling that i was an annoyance. just a heads up to everyone, because, obviously you do have to tell them who you are in this case, learn from my mistake and dont be an annoyance</p>
<p>Same here, the person I spoke with basically said that there were many factors in making a decision, and she can't share those factors. She advised me to follow the directions on the deferral letter, about sending the midyear report and extra recommendations if necessary.</p>
