Don't buy the Kaplan AP Biology Prep Book!

There are at least 20 errors/typos in my Kaplan AP Biology 2009 book; it's just a waste of money. Instead try Cliffnotes or McGraw Hill for biology.

Hmmm I usually trust Kaplan. They are simple and to the point, but yea I do notice typos because they need to get the book printed.

I used the 2007 book to study - pretty darn good IMHO. DW though, they will come out with a 2010 book soon and you may be able to complain to get the new one since you don’t like your old one…

Yes, Kaplan does have bad books for all subjects

I was taking some practice tests for Calc BC (2009) and i must have gotten at least 7 MC wrong b/c they would put wrong answers in the choices none of which were true, so I would just put w/e came close and then in the answers it would be right

and one of the MC actually required multivariable calculus as part of the solution…

no surprise. Should have asked us earlier, all of us would have said - DON’T BUY IT!

I hated that book with a passion. It dumbed-down a difficult course and had countless errors.

well luckily I didn’t buy it - my friend had it so I just asked him if I could borrow it for the tests but yeah now he knows that it was a bad idea
