Hard to call, because you have a lot of EC’s and a rather good GPA. But how many AP classes have you taken exactly? Oh, and please PLEASE raise your SAT scores. And um…Work on your essays soon. The UC essays are very alike, every year, so you can get an idea of what’s going to be your essay prompt by last year’s or other previous ones. And keep up your grades :D

UCs don’t take race into account.

Work on your GPA if you can, that’s pretty low

heh yea thats as good as my gpa is gonna get since im a senior this up coming year…but i def raise those sat im also taking the act…with the stats above is it a reach?

Eh. I find that a lot of students work hard to get good grades, great extra curriculars, etc. and totally BS the application and essays. I have a lot of friends who were much better applicants then me in terms of GPA, Test scores, and EC’s and were rejected to many schools I got into. I say do what you can now but when the applications become available get working on them ASAP. Filling the application itself gives you another opportunity to look better then the next applicant.

I got into every UC; including Cal and LA with a GPA of 3.4 and a 1540 SAT I.

Fix the things you can and don’t stress about the things you can’t. Make sure your application represents you to the fullest and cross your fingers. With the way acceptances went this year nothing is for sure.

I can’t say whether or not you have a good chance or not - I’m still suprised about myself. Good luck though.

wow thanks ^ thats really inspiring, im just gonna do my best i guess
