<p>After being here for a while, there are a couple things I've come to like but there are some aspects of the college that me and some of my friends dislike and feel as though pitzer may not be the best fit for some.
this is primarily if-
you play a sport
are an econ or hard science major
are not apathetic </p>
<p>If you’re not willing to back up those broad reflections, don’t make them. This kind of post does nothing to help prospective students or families in picking Pitzer. I think that on some of your points you might be hitting something important, but not unless you elaborate. </p>
<p>My second year, Econ major, Sagehen track athlete would disagree. </p>
<p>My first year D, premed, and taking both Bio and Chem would also disagree. I would also never characterize her or any of her Pitzer friends as “apathetic.” Au contraire.</p>
<p>I was an Economics major at Pitzer and most of my friends were too. We thought it was a great program. Personally, I always planned on pursuing an advanced degree in business later (completed MBA). As for Sagehen sports, depends on which sports. From my experience, I had Econ major friends in H20 Polo and Golf and they loved those programs. Of course, if you are Dvision I or II talent, go to a school with a higher profile sports program.</p>
<p>I would agree if you want to be a business major, go somewhere else (no specific business major program). Although you can attend CMC classes and construct your own business major program. </p>
