Don't complete all my major prereq's by fall.

What happens if I don't complete all my major prereq's by fall?

I know this question are in the FAQ, but I want to know how the grade is submited to the UCs ( Cause the garde-failling form due in Feb ) .

If you are not able fulfill all of the prereqs prior to transfer admissions to which ever UC you are accepted into. Depending on the prereq(s) for your major not completed it will impact your admission decisions. Some UC’s will allow the partial completement of the prereqs but the higher ranking UC’s tend to review harshly upon the prereqs for your desired major. If you are accepted and have not completed the necessary prereqs and the UC’s are aware of this. Then you will most likely have to take them at the college you are accepted into. If they are unaware of this when they have accepted you, then they can rescind your acceptance.

it’s fine if you do not finish them by fall, they just need to be done by the spring before you transfer. it’s best to try and complete them as soon as possible but you will not be penalized as long as they are done by spring. when you input them into the grade update form you will put “planned or in progress” if the fall semester has already started. they will see the final grade when you send them your transcripts after being accepted.

So my garde in spring still counts?
I 'll get my accpetance in April right?
But my spring quarter doesn’t end at april…
So how do I inform them about the Grades??

they will see them on your trancript, you just need to show that you are in progress with taking them when you update your grades and maintin a 3.0 in your lest semester with a recommended B or higher in your pre-req class. A C is acceptable but I would try to get higher.

Rexmak - Yes, your spring grades still count. You will be required to send your final official transcript to which ever college you have been accepted to when your spring semester/quarter ends. If they find out that you have not successfully completed the courses you listed in your application or have lied, then it will cause you acceptance to be rescinded.

Decisions for some of the UC’s come out in late April.
