EC's are very lengthy and good but too lazy to list
But I haven't won any awards or anything just a lot of volunteer internship type of stuff that I have put many hours of dedication into. Do track and basketball and have been varsity since 9th, and captain since 11th

Your GPA is well under the average, but your ACT's are well over the average. Now that UCB and UCLA are going under the hollistic approach I think your chances as an African-american to those schools will be slightly higher.

UCB slight reach
UCLA slight match
UCSD match
UCI match
USC slight match

Wait, I saw your school online on wikipedia. It is extremely competitive. (Avg SAT of 1327/1600, WTH are they feeding you guys?) Even though UCB and UCLA use a holistic approach they do not consider race anymore. And those schools focus on your UC GPA and 3.75 will be difficult. Thus I would say UCB and UCLA are reaches and UCSD is a high match. I think you will get into UCI and USC. If I were you, I'd look at some private institutions. A 33 ACT is extremely strong and coupled with URM status I think you could get into some "lower" Ivies. HYPS will be tough considering a 3.4 UW. I would say though, with all honesty, you have a higher chance getting into Cornell (80%) than UCB (50%). Good luck and please don't discriminate but chance me! :)

You're going to have a lot more luck at top private schools as opposed to public. And even if you are middle class, I would advise you to apply for FA. You'd be surprised.

Cornell, Penn, Dartmouth, Brown. Also look into UChicago, WashU, Northwestern, etc. and LACs if you're interested. Your school's difficulty, your high test scores, and your race will all play a helpful role in your chances of admission and being middle class, you can expect some need-based aid from those schools.
