A few things to add.
The PU store is 4 stories of expensive stuff that you will want but probably don't need:) Wild Oats is a gr8 store a short walk from campus and T sweets Ice Cream is next to 185 Nassau St which houses the Visual Art Program.
Wineberries and the Annex are GR8 places to eat off campus.
Frist Center has a nice Cafe to get Java and surf the net. There are lots of pizza places but they aren't as good as the ones in my hometown (Brooklyn)
fagetaboutit!

52%+ of Princetonians participate in athletics at one point or another (varsity, club, or IM)

There is competitive dodgeball at Princeton!!! (i'm so there it's not even funny)

Frosh Week will be overwhelming, yet so fun

You can skip a few classes and still get by just fine :p

Don't sweat precepts

We will be joining a great family.

We are going to have the best four years of our lives up to this point.

We will bleed orange and black (if we already aren't, which, last time I checked my blood, I was ;))

Most of us will rarely go to NYC and Philly. Shocking, isn't it?

chat was great, and i owe a huge thanks to phil!

I'm glad you ended up being able to come! It's always fun to meet more classmates :)

oh yeah and jobs in dining services are the best paying :)

Yeah...I hope I end up there or in a library or in an academic apartment. Anything but telemarketing. shudders

what do you mean? what is independent? What cars?

i found out that my computer and my internet conection have s***t value. it took me about 5 minutes to change chat rooms and eventually my connection just fell. :( I feel so pathetic. I had 3 !!! alarm clocks wake me up! only to have my conection bail on me. :( :( :(

Ah, that sucks about the 'puter, Revan. Sometimes tech just...sucks, hehe.

And they were saying that freshmen aren't allowed to have cars on campus, and that going independent for junior and senior years is cheaper than joining an eating club.

a. independent means 'cooking on their own' and not linked to any dining hall/plans (cheaper would be nice...but cant even reheat a pizza... :( )

b. freshmen arent allowed to bring cars on campus. Very few freshmen bring cars, but they have to park it outside the campus and pay a whole lot more!!! also, cars wont be necessary since it is pretty easy to get around...

cooking on my own- while I can do it and occasionally enjoy doing it I'm not sure I'd like to do it everyday :(

and i doubt that u will have time everyday...

maybe we could bring food packages from home? especially us intls.
that would be interesting. Dehidrated bread with water anyone?

:D i think i'll pass...
but on tht thought...having an intel cookout/potluck sounds yummy!!!

dehydrated bread with water is fine :D

Speaking of jobs on campus. Since i never really got to chat, perhaps one of you might answer my question. Can intls work on campus in hollydays? (like fall break or Thanksgiving). And if yes, can intls work a lot? meaning >20h/week.

intels enrolled in school cannot work more than 20 hours a week IMO. I think in holidays you can work upto 20 hrs a week, as long as you can find work...the thing is that around thx giving, xmas, etc. most of the stuff (like library, some dining halls, etc) close down for few days as well...but still i think it shouldnt be a problem to find 20 hrs/week work, if you really want to...

i probably will. Long story but i will probably need extra money in college, cuz i kinda intend to get to Bremen about twice a year, and my earnings will probably be the main contributor.
