Don't forget to check that all of your information has been received

Just a heads up on this. If you do not have delivery confirmation or similar on all of your materials, and if no on line information confirming receipt is used, I suggest you check with schools. As much as they do not want a lot of phone calls, if something is missing, you will want to know so that you can get it in ASAP. Last year a few applicants were upset when they found out after March 10 that the application was incomplete.

I have just done this today, and the schools were extremely kind about it. My Choate application folder is completed, except for financial aid, and the Exeter application is only missing my essays, which were sent out January 15 (the day of the deadline), so it will take a while to process.

Can you email admissions about this? Which is better, phone calls or emails?

Yes, but I used the phone.

Fellsmom, I would recommend calling. That said, I would not call the places that post an online checklist unless it is more than 2 wks since sent. They can take 2 wks to post your info. I know some places do not have an online checklist, and I do think it worth a call for those. If you are sending anything at this point, use delivery confirmation or equivalent for your own peace of mind.
