For those who have already been admitted, have decided, and have SIRed to your amazing new school, don't forget to DECLINE your admission to the other schools that have accepted you. Be courteous to those on the wait-list!

Couldn’t agree more.

GREAT message :)

Thanks :)

thanks man. I wouldn’t have thought to do that. I totally will now :D.

there is no waitlist for transfers.

really?!?!? i wasn’t aware of that! i got waitlisted to cal poly slo, but are csu’s different?

i guess so. the UC system has only just started implementing the waitlist at certain campuses for freshmen admissions.

ok, i take back my thanks. You almost put me through unnecessary effort. Shame! SHAME I say!

They might not be waitlisting, but please decline for your fellow students who are still PENDING at other schools.

As soon as I hear from UCB I’m going to decline to Davis and San Diego, hopefully freeing up a spot for one of you guys. But I’m going to hang on to my UCLA admit just in case something goes awry with Berkeley. I dropped one class and switched one class, which shouldn’t affect my admission status at all, but it never hurts to be prepared.

guess I should do this for the CSUs since I won’t be going there no matter what(dropped a class).

keeping my UC options open though JUST INCASE.

already SIRed for UCI though.

There is no waitlist, but the spot can still go to someone who appeals.

Hi,

How does one decline the offer? The option doesn’t seem to be anywhere obvious online. Is it something I have to do over the phone? I definitely want to give others a good as chance as possible.

Only if we can ebay our admission acceptance But ya, good idea =)

haha wouldn’t that be awesome! you could make some money and help someone out

Yeah, my friend applied to and was wait-listed by SFSU, and I wish I could give her my acceptance cuz I’m going to a UC anyway.
