Don't know anything about ACT, please help

<p>I have no clue what subjects are on the ACT, is it like SAT (CR, M, W)? Can someone give me a brief description of the ACT? Would really appreciate it, thanks.</p>

<p>The first section is English, 75 Questions in 45 Minutes. The second is Math, 60 Questions in 60 Minutes. The third is Reading, 40 Questions in 35 minutes. The fourth is Science, 40 Questions in 35 minutes. The fifth is an optional essay in 30 (I think) minutes.</p>

<p>depends. try a practice test. the killer section is the science section. although you dont need to know background knowledge on the science, it is still tough. i would say the reading is easier than the reading on the SAT. the writing and math is similar in both.</p>
