Don't know too much...

i havent really heard too much about the SAT II's in general so im getting a little worried. this year my courses are AP Bio, 3rd year english (honors), world history (honors), spanish (honors), pre-calc (honors), and AP Statistics. Last year it took chemistry and anatomy for my electives with the rest as your standard honors classes. next year i plan on taking ap calc, ap chem, physics (for the first time- they recommend taking physics after pre-calc), and maybe some sort of AP History. what im really wondering is when i should take the SAT II's? i think i'll take my SAT II in biology around the time i prepare for the AP test, but i dont know about the others. i plan on applying to schools such as BU that require SAT II's. When do you think i should take the chem SAT II.. is it ok if i take it later on in senior year, or will that not work out because of college applications being earlier on in the year?

If anyone could please give me a little advice on what they think i should do, it would be greatly appreciated. my school hasnt even brought up the SAT II's thus far, and the only way i really hear about it is through CC.</p>

thanks

edit: maybe i should add that these are all full year courses.

Well, if you ask me, you should most definitely take the Biology and Math Level 2 SATs in May this school year. This way all the information will still be fresh in you head.... You'll probably want to take the Spanish SAT II next year, maybe November or so. If you do well in these three, you'll have a good science, math, and language score, so you should be set.

As for senior year SATs.... Generally the latest you can take an SAT is in December of your senior year. If I were you, I'd only take the Chemistry or Physics SAT if and only if I did badly on the Biology one. If you do well in Bio, you don't really have to worry about any other sciences (unless of course you're going to major in chemical engineering or something).

i hope to go into pre-med, but do i have to take spanish. the past 3 years i have only gotten by with an A in that class is because i have had fairly easy spanish teachersa, and if i have to take an SAT II spanish test i will most likely do very poorly.

some of the colleges i want to apply to are BU, Tufts, BC and some others. im not 100% sure if i need to take something like spansih.
