<p>Google Maps says Rancho Cucamonga to CSU Long Beach is 55 miles… 55 minutes, 90 minutes with traffic.</p>

<p>syed2007 – you really need to go over every word and punctuation mark with a fine toothed comb (jot and tittle is an archaic way of saying that) of the requirements for Residency for Tuition Purposes in the State of CA. Get somebody to help you with this, perhaps even an attorney friend who can take ten minutes to look at it and give you his/her opinion. Your entire strategy rests on when and <em>exactly</em> what you have to do to establish your CA Residency for Tuition Purposes.</p>

<p>You don’t go through downtown LA, but you will be heading in the same direction as all the other gazillion people who live east of LA and head westward to get to work. </p>

<p>Cal States in the Rancho Cucamonga area: Pomona is excellent, but that’s very difficult to get into. San Bernardino is a straight shot east, so traffic should be lighter. Fullerton is next closest, but there’s traffic. Other than that, privates or community college are the only options.</p>
