I have narrowed down my decision to two choices, Michigan State University (MSU) and The University of Michigan- Flint (UM-F). MSU is a far better school than UMF, but if I attended UMF I would want to transfer to The University Of Michigan- Ann Arbor (UM-A) Im a little hesitant on this option just because UM-A is such a good school and im afraid I would have some difficulties keeping up. Should I go to MSU for four years? Or go to UM-F and then transfer to the UM-A?

Are both choices affordable? If so, I’d go with MSU. It offers the “college experience”, more opportunities, and good to excellent academics.

Both would equal about the same in terms of cost. I received a great scholarship at UMF which would counter the higher expenses at UMA if I transfered.

Is that transfer guaranteed, or is there the possibility that you wouldn’t be able to transfer?

Think carefully about which of these options could work best for you if you ended up staying there for all four years.

MSU. It is a great school with great academics, students, activities and town.

Later on you can decide if you’d like to transfer or not. If you are happy at MSU and doing well, you may not want to leave!!
