Hey everyone,

I hope I'm posting in the right topic… So the deadline to choose a college is creeping up and I'm still unsure. I don't know exactly what career path I want to choose, but I have an idea of a direction I'd like to go in. I'm interested in pharmacology and Public health. For graduate school, I'm thinking either pharmacy school or medical school, but like I said before, I'm not entirely sure. My most important factors are academics, price, and location. The schools I am considering are:
Hunter College- Yalow Scholars program- fin-aid: $2000/year scholarship for 4 years…so I'd be paying $18k in total for 4 years, a price my parents can pay.
Stony Brook- Fin-aid: $2,500 presidential scholarship…roughly $80k over 4 years, my parents are willing to pay this if it's worth it
Brandeis University- 5.5k in loans/year + $24k/year out of pocket, so about $30k/year…$120k for four years. I'd have to take out loans.
University at Buffalo- Honors program, about $17k a year; $68k for four years. Guaranteed admission into their pharmacy school as long as I keep my grades in good standing. Only problem is I'm from NYC and Buffalo is 8-9 hours away which is really far (for me) :(

I guess another way to phrase my question(s) would be, 1) Are the academics at Stony Brook MUCH better than the academics at Hunter and is it worth $80k? 2) I know Brandeis is a great university, but is taking out a lot of loans for undergrad worth it?

Thanks in advance for any advice!! :)
